Product Introduction

PVC chemical piping—formally known as polyvinyl chloride (PVC) piping—is primarily used in the chemical industry in the form of UPVC (unplasticized polyvinyl chloride) pipe. It is manufactured via extrusion using a resin derived from the polymerization of vinyl chloride monomers, combined with additives such as stabilizers and lubricants. Other modified variants, such as CPVC (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride), are also available and offer superior temperature resistance.

Product Features

Excellent Corrosion Resistance: Highly resistant to inorganic acids, alkalis, and salts at typical concentrations and temperatures, making it ideal for transporting chemical media.

Smooth Internal Surface: Features a roughness coefficient of only 0.009, resulting in low fluid resistance and minimal risk of scaling or clogging.

Lightweight: Weighs approximately 1/7th that of cast-iron pipe of the same diameter, facilitating easier handling and installation.

High Mechanical Strength: Offers excellent resistance to water pressure and impact, with a service life of 40–50 years.

Good Electrical Insulation: Frequently used as protective conduit for electrical wires and cables.

Easy Installation: Supports various connection methods—including solvent welding, push-fit joints with rubber rings, flanging, or welding—ensuring low project costs.
