HDPE steel-reinforced spiral corrugated pipe—formally known as a steel-reinforced polyethylene (PE) spiral corrugated pipe—is a new type of buried drainage pipe. It utilizes high-density polyethylene (HDPE) as its base material, incorporating a steel strip coated with an adhesive resin. This strip is formed into a "U" shape and spirally wound between inner and outer layers of heat-fused polyethylene. This design combines the high strength and rigidity of steel with the flexibility, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance of polyethylene.

Product Features:

High Ring Stiffness: Offers ring stiffness ratings of SN8, SN10, SN12.5, and SN16. It provides greater strength than standard spiral-wound pipes of the same weight, making it ideal for large-diameter, deep-buried projects. Corrosion Resistance: Resistant to sewage, wastewater, chemical agents, and the corrosive effects of decaying organic matter in the soil. Impact and Aging Resistance: The "U"-shaped steel strip structure provides excellent impact and pressure resistance; the pipe is highly resistant to cracking—even in the event of ground subsidence—and exhibits strong recovery after deformation. The black outer wall is designed to withstand direct sunlight. Cold Resistance: Remains crack-free and leak-proof even in temperatures as low as -60°C. Lightweight: Weighs approximately 1/8th of an equivalent concrete pipe, facilitating easy transport and requiring only an excavator—rather than heavy-duty machinery—for installation. Smooth Inner Wall: Ensures excellent flow capacity, minimal frictional resistance, and rapid drainage. Convenient Installation: Pipes can be joined outside the trench and then lowered into place, helping to reduce both construction time and costs.
